Grid Dynamics is a partner of X.commerce company and works on design, development, configuration and deployment different layers of their platform. Х.commerce is a platform of dynamical deployment, management and functionality extension of eCommerce systems. This platform consist of many layers: IaaS (infrastructure as a service) based on OpenStack virtualization, PaaS (platform as a service) consists of different work-flows management and orchestration of the platform and SaaS (software as a service) which provides tools for services management and use. For participation in this project we are looking for Junior Software Engineer with Deployment skills.

Requirements:

Knowledge and high results in learning of OOP languages and applications development based on them; Confident user or administrator of Linux-based OS; Skills in scripting languages (Python, Ruby) or desire for learning; Desire and bent for study of development of system software, PaaS, monitoring systems, etc.; English (pre-intermediate or higher).

Responsibilities:

Study and take part in implementation and deployment of system and high level components of x.commerce connected to cloud management, monitoring, self-healing of virtual machines services, internal and 3d party software components and services, PaaS, capabilities management and work-flows; Take part in technologies and solutions evaluation using customer requirements; Be a member of agile team and take part in agile processes of the project.
